Pure luxury. This beautifully engineered machine is the flagship of the Mercedes-Benz lineup, and it looks/feels like it. This gem has low mileage and all the modern comforts you could want, including wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto, massaging seats, adaptive cruise control, heated seats and heated steering wheel, folding mirrors, programable memory seats, dynamic seats (when activated, they hug you when turning), lane departure warning system, rear heated seats, sunroof, Harman Kardon sound system, electric rear window shades, etc. etc...
I've owned a lot of cars and this is the smoothest ride I've ever experienced. The power is incredible for a sedan (429 HP twin-turbo V8 with 516 lb-ft torque) and the look is classic. See a copy of the original sticker in the photos, there is a lengthy list of features ($120,000+ MSRP in 2013). I've also run a VIN decoder which is available if you're interested. Suffice to say, there isn't much you could want in a luxury sedan that this vehicle doesn't offer - it's amazingly well equipped and maintained. I'm selling because I need a truck...thought I could manage with a sedan but I need something more rugged.
I added the wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto. This is $1,000+ upgrade that is fully integrated with the original screen and built in console/steering wheel controls. One button toggles the display view from CarPlay to the original computer for massage seats, radio, DVD, HVAC controls, built-in navigation, car settings, etc. It is very easy to use and works great. The brand is RDVFL - do your homework, this is a domestic manufacturer and the preferred brand for professional installers and offers a three year warranty (yes, I have the receipt).
NOTE about ownership history ... I bought it from a retired doctor friend. I was told his father leased/bought it new in Canada, then retired to Massachusetts. When my friend inherited it, he then re-titled the car in Virginia where we live. I bought it from him I have a clean Virginia title. CarFax shows multiple "new owners" when the registration was renewed and the son took title, but I believe I am the legitimate second owner outside of the original owner's family.
Maintenance: check the CarFax history - this vehicle was regularly maintained at the local dealerships in both Canada and Massachusetts. Since in Virginia, it's been serviced by reputable European luxury car specialists.
